Acted as discussant in the Hot off the press Book Series “The Challenge of Urban Futures”, organized by the University of Vienna. We discussed the book The Affordable City: Strategies for Putting Housing Within Reach (and Keeping It There), by Shane Phillips together with the author

Co-organized the ENHR Workshop “Recent dynamics in home-ownership and housing wealth“, together with Richard Ronald and Caroline Dewilde within the frame of the ENHR Working Group Home-Ownership and Globalization.

Gave a talk at the lecture series “Das Soziale und die Corona Krise”, organized by Christoph Reinprecht at the University of Vienna. I presented the recent work on what’s happening to Airbnb homes during the Covid-19 pandemic that I did with Antonia Schneider and Roman Seidl.

Moderated the event “Rehabilitating the sharing economy?” with Juliet Schor, Elke Schüssler and Kasia Gruszka as part of the Karl Polanyi lecture series “Countermovements – Putting the economy in its place”, organized, among others, by the International Polanyi Society along with WU Wien, TU Wien, JKU Linz, and VHS Wien.
